Science: Grade 9

You’ll develop the cultural awareness and critical thinking skills you need to analyze and produce a broad range of discourse in a full spectrum of careers — and to make a difference in whatever you do.

Overview

The mastery year, and the bridge into IGCSE Sciences. Statistical thinking and evaluating sources, planetary boundaries and climate systems, organic chemistry and the chemistry of life, evolution and classification at depth, planetary health and tipping points, waves, optics and engineering design — closing with an independent research paper.

Pacing: one lesson per week, 18 weeks. The second half of the year can begin IGCSE preparation.
