The first half of the upper Duʿa program, continuing from Duʿa: Middle Grades (Gr 4–6) and followed by Duʿa: High School (Gr 10–12). Thirteen lessons across three years, one section per grade.
The method at this level is scholar text reading, then analytical discussion, then written reflection, then a personal practice plan. Where DU-2 asked the student to read the Arabic directly, this asks them to argue from it — to handle the theology, weigh the fiqh, and ground each element in evidence.
Grade 7 establishes the theology of duʿa. Grade 8 covers the conditions, obstacles and etiquette. Grade 9 is full adhkaar mastery — morning, evening, after-salah, and the adhkaar for sleep, travel and distress, read and parsed in Arabic.
Cross-course integration
- JBJ-IS-3 — Phase 7 (Worship & Spiritual Life) overlaps with this course; the two run over the same grade band.
- JBJ-AR-3 — Arabic grammar (iʿraab) is applied to parsing adhkaar text in the Grade 9 unit.
