Year 1 of the JBJ Academy Islamic History track. One unit: The Khulafa Rashidah — eighteen lessons, one every two weeks over a 36-week year, covering the death of the Prophet ﷺ through the end of the Rightly Guided era.
The year runs from the succession crisis after the Prophet’s death, through Abu Bakr and the Riddah wars, Umar’s justice and administration, Uthman’s compilation of the Qur’an and the beginning of the fitnah, to Ali and the civil strife that closed the period — ending with what the four caliphs together model about leadership.
