Year one of the IS-3 sequence. Students revisit the aqeedah, fiqh and seerah they met in IS-2 and begin handling them the way a student of knowledge does — asking where a ruling comes from, why scholars differ, and what a text actually obligates.
Eight units run across all three years of IS-3. Grade 7 covers twenty-five lessons, across those eight and a ninth of its own:
- Bridging Aqeedah — review and extend
- Sources of knowledge
- Seerah — deeper study
- Intro to fiqh reasoning
- Ethics and contemporary life
- Academic skills — reading and writing about deen
- The Last Day — the grave, the Sirat and the Scale
- Salah in depth — fiqh, khushoo and consistency
- The Chain of Prophethood
Set text: Ar-Raheeq al-Makhtoom (The Sealed Nectar). Unit 3 is where the student reads the seerah for themselves, having met the narrative retold across Grades 4–6. Quran Grade 8 leans on that reading the following year, for Badr and Tabuk.
Each IS-3 year carries its own set text: Grade 7 the seerah, Grade 8 Kitab at-Tawheed, Grade 9 Al-Aqeedah al-Wasitiyyah — which Unit 1 of this year previews.
