Year two of the IS-3 sequence. The same eight units, taken further: doubts about Allah’s existence answered head-on, a ruling worked from text to conclusion, the Prophet’s diplomacy read as method rather than story, and the first sustained essay writing of the program.
Grade 8 covers thirty-six lessons across the eight IS-3 units and two units of its own:
- Bridging Aqeedah — review and extend
- Sources of knowledge
- Seerah — deeper study
- Intro to fiqh reasoning
- Ethics and contemporary life
- Academic skills — reading and writing about deen
- The Last Day — the grave, the Sirat and the Scale
- Salah in depth — fiqh, khushoo and consistency
- Kitab at-Tawheed — studying the text
- The Prophets Before Muhammad ﷺ — Qasas al-Anbiya
Set text: Kitab at-Tawheed, studied in Unit 9. Quran Grade 8 reads Al-Anam the same year — tawheed proofs and the refutation of shirk — and cites this text.
Each IS-3 year carries its own set text: Grade 7 Ar-Raheeq al-Makhtoom, Grade 8 Kitab at-Tawheed, Grade 9 Al-Aqeedah al-Wasitiyyah.
