This middle school Human Anatomy & Physiology course invites students to explore the incredible design of the human body through a scientific and spiritual lens. With a strong foundation in biological science and a deep connection to Islamic teachings, students will investigate the major systems of the body, their structure and function, and how they work together to maintain life and balance (homeostasis).

Guided by Qur’anic verses and the concept of *Tawheed* (the oneness of Allah), students will reflect on how each organ system is a sign of divine wisdom and mercy. Topics include the skeletal, muscular, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, nervous, endocrine, immune, and integumentary systems, with optional material on the reproductive system offered in an age-appropriate and respectful manner.

This course is hands-on, inquiry-driven, and adaptable to multi-age learners. While 8th graders will engage more deeply with scientific vocabulary and independent projects, 5th graders will explore the same content through simplified activities, visuals, and storytelling. The course includes journaling, experiments, models, and an end-of-year capstone project celebrating the miracle of the human body.
